I am so tired of being itchy and Indpendance

I have decided it is time to go to the doctor. I have something that is making me nuts. I have been itchy for over a month! I have little red bumps. I have considered everything from a fibromyalgia symptom, to excema. The thing is, it is growing or maybe just moving who knows at this point. I have been taking benedryl even though I am not thinking it is an allergy. Hydrcortosone cream helps a little. Other lotions I have tried including aloe vera, nothing. I just can't figure this one out. So I guess it is about time to make an appointment.

In other news, we will be going to the July 4th fireworks and having a cookout while we are there. It is one of my favorite holiday activities because we get out with all the other people, and have a little fun away from the house. We always do it on the cheap, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I am trying to plan our menu now. I love that we are free to have our own religion and all the other things that come from this holiday. I am saddened though that it seems our government is trying hard to take our freedoms away, and succeeding. I hope that we as Americans are able to change that soon.

Erica is back from camp

Erica had a great time at church camp again this year. She had great weather for it. It was nice and cool last week and didn't rain much at all. She loves camp! She doesn't know it, but she is going again in July. That is for her birthday. She is going to a different session, and will be in the cabins at the main camp this time. Part of me is afraid she won't like it as much. Hopefully I am wrong. I am sure she will still have a great time either way, but she loves the wilderness stuff so much. She had a blast this year sleeping in the tree huts. I love that she gets these chances to go to camp with other kids with our same beliefs. And I love that all the churches help out with things so that keeps the costs down. Again this year, our church was asked to donate salad dressing. Some are asked for cereal and such. And the camp has a garden. I just love the way they do things.

I guess I took a blogging break

I didn't really mean to, it just happened. Erica went to Kansas to visit her grandparents and my brother and sister. She had a good time, but got very homesick and said she doesn't plan to do anything like that again soon. She was gone eight days. The longest she has ever been away from me. I missed her like crazy. She got back yesterday and goes to church camp on Sunday evening. She is looking forward to that also. She had a great time at camp last year.

Beloved is going to orientation for a truck driving job next week. Sadly that doesn't make him hired yet. We are praying this one pans out. He really wants to get back to work. And the rest of us would like that also. We could sure use everyone's prayers on this.
